Charlottesville

One Sunday afternoon in October our family decided to hop in the car and drive to the Shenandoah Mountains for a nature walk.  Weeeellllll, we missed one very important exit and 1 hour later realized we weren't where we were supposed to be. BUT, we were 20 minutes from Charlottesville and the University of Virginia (on our checklist of places to see) so, by default,  we decided to go there instead.  It did not disappoint.  We felt we had gone back in time.  Jefferson's architecture was beautiful. The following are pictures of us wandering around the campus.
I feel this should be some sort of model shot for Phil and Ted's Strollers.  (maybe I could send it in and get some money, eh?)

I loved seeing the full length shudders around the doors.  These weren't decorative like the ones we see nowadays, they had hinges and were used like a storm door.  Very cool.

K1 love being able to roam at will.

Our attempted family shot.  Our camera was put on top of our stroller with a timer setting. :)

You can tell how much K1 wanted to be in this next succession of shots :)
