Random Family Outings

Our stake did a pioneer trek this year and the wards were encouraged to go to the ranch and greet the handcarts as they arrived. So we went! Holy cow, it was so hot outside. Over 100 degrees hot.
If you can't tell, it was kinda windy outside. Sadly the wind was hot too. No relief.

Change of Location: Here we are by the Potomac river having a picnic. The original plan for the day (Labor day) was to go to the National Zoo and then have a picnic. Weeeell, everyone else had the same spectacular idea we did and they closed the parking and we would have had to pay on the street. LAME. So then we thought to go to the National Cathedral, but couldn't find it. Oh well. The picnic was still fun.
