New Job

From the time PC finished his last final for fall semester, he was applying for summer work/internships. He was contacted for interviews from 7-10 firms (they are all blurring now) and thought he had something lined up in Dunkirk, Maryland. The offer wasn't taking shape. Since school would be over in a few weeks, and he had heard back from all his interviews, he decided he would send thank you's to all the firms for considering him and ask that they would consider him for his 2L summer. Anyway, in the midst off all these letters, he actually made a small mistake mixing up a name of an associate and the correct firm. PC was quite embarrassed but quickly remedied the situation. Well, long story short, his resume was passed on and a partner at this firm contacted PC and said "if you want a job, contact me". And so he did. After a few emails and an interview, he was offered a full time job.

We didn't want to be too hasty about him taking the job because we knew that by him accepting, that he would need to transfer to the evening program. There's nothing wrong with the evening program except that we probably won't see PC much. After much thought and prayer, we decided that this was no mere coincidence that this fell into his lap at the last minute and that he should take the job. The firm is rather small and is located in the thick of Georgetown. PC's only been working a few weeks and is taking to the work well and likes his coworkers. We are really excited for him!

I love the updates! Hooray for summer - and good luck with the new job!
Although it is hard to have them gone SO much, the blessing will come.
Stay close and help each other. When time is short, that is what will carry you through.
